Booking, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

At City Moon Business, vehicle availability is limited. Once a reservation is confirmed, the selected vehicle category and rental dates are reserved specifically for that customer and may no longer be available for other bookings. For this reason, the following booking, cancellation, and refund terms apply.

1. Reservation Confirmation

1.1 A reservation is considered confirmed only after City Moon Business has received the required payment, deposit, or any other form of confirmation accepted by the company.

1.2 Once confirmed, the reserved vehicle category and rental period shall be held specifically for the customer for the agreed dates and times.

1.3 By confirming a reservation, the customer acknowledges that the vehicle category and booking period are blocked and may no longer be offered to other customers.

1.4 All bookings remain subject to final document verification, vehicle availability, operational requirements, and company approval at the time of delivery or collection.

2. Customer Cancellations

2.1 If a customer cancels a confirmed reservation, the amount paid to secure the booking shall be non-refundable.

2.2 This policy applies because, upon confirmation, City Moon Business allocates the requested vehicle category and blocks the reserved rental dates, which may prevent the company from accepting other bookings for the same period.

2.3 If the customer does not collect the vehicle on the agreed pick-up date and time and fails to notify City Moon Business in advance, the reservation may be delayed, canceled, or treated as a no-show, subject to operational availability and company approval.

2.4 If the reservation is treated as a no-show, the booking amount paid may be forfeited in accordance with this policy.

3. Changes to Reservation Dates or Booking Details

3.1 Any request to amend the pick-up date, return date, vehicle category, rental duration, or any other booking details shall be subject to vehicle availability and company approval.

3.2 City Moon Business is under no obligation to approve any request for rescheduling, amendment, or modification of a confirmed reservation.

3.3 Where a change request is approved, the customer shall be responsible for paying any difference in rental charges, seasonal rates, booking fees, or other applicable charges resulting from the amendment.

3.4 A customer may request a change to a reservation instead of canceling it, but all requested changes remain subject to availability and company approval.

4. Refund Policy

4.1 No refund shall be issued in the event of:

  • customer-initiated cancellation
  • no-show
  • shortened rental period
  • unused rental days
  • early return of the vehicle

4.2 A refund shall only be considered where City Moon Business cancels the reservation, is unable to provide the booked service, or expressly approves a refund in writing at its sole discretion.

4.3 Where a refund is approved, the processing time may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, bank, money transfer service, or financial institution involved.

4.4 Any approved refund may be subject to deduction of non-recoverable payment gateway fees, bank charges, transfer fees, card commissions, money transfer charges, and currency conversion costs, where applicable. Such charges may be borne by the customer and deducted from the total refund amount.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellation

5.1 If City Moon Business is unable to provide the reserved vehicle category or is otherwise unable to fulfill the booking due to operational, technical, fleet, legal, verification, or other business-related reasons, the company may, at its sole discretion:

  • offer a similar replacement vehicle or suitable alternative, subject to availability, or
  • issue a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances

5.2 Nothing in this section obligates City Moon Business to provide compensation beyond the amount approved by the company, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Other Charges Not Affected

6.1 This policy does not affect the right of City Moon Business to recover any additional amount due under the rental agreement or applicable law, including but not limited to:

  • traffic fines and traffic violations
  • fuel differences or refueling charges
  • late-return charges
  • cleaning fees
  • smoking penalties or smoking-related damage charges
  • vehicle damage, breakdown costs caused by misuse, or repair costs
  • toll charges, parking charges, impound fees, or other government-related charges
  • breaches of the rental terms, rental policies, or applicable agreement

7. Customer Acknowledgment

By confirming a reservation, the customer acknowledges and agrees that:

  • the reserved vehicle category and rental dates are blocked specifically for that booking
  • the booking amount paid to secure the reservation is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the customer
  • any approved refund may be reduced by applicable banking, payment-processing, transfer, card, money transfer, or other transaction-related charges, where applicable
  • all booking amendments remain subject to availability and company approval
  • early return, unused rental days, shortened rental periods, and no-show cases do not entitle the customer to a refund unless City Moon Business expressly approves otherwise in writing at its sole discretion
